Semi-Senior Accountant

£25000 - £30000 per annum

Fantastic opportunity for a Semi-Senior to join a mid-sized, modern, and growing firm of Accountants based in Garforth, Leeds.
Established over 15 years’ ago, this firm takes a modern approach to Accountancy with the utilization of technology to make their work and client contact succinct and efficient. With over 40 staff, you will have the opportunity to join an expanding team as Junior Accountant / Semi-Senior Accountant, that will enable you to connect with a wide range of individuals and grow your existing knowledge.

About the role:

Preparation and submission of company accounts and corporate tax returns.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Assist with general administrative tasks that may be required such as filing Confirmation Statements and updating Companies House.
Assisting clients with the bookkeeping portal and answering any queries.
Working as part of a wider team and reporting to managers to assist clients with any queries they may have.

About the candidate:

2+ years’ Practice experience would be preferable.
Suitable for any exam level of candidate, whether you are studying or have completed any of the following: AAT, ACCA, ACA.
You must be comfortable and open to adopting new technologies and working for a progressive firm of Accountants.
Feel comfortable taking ownership of your work and liaising with clients.
