Head of Finance
We are looking for a strategic finance leader with a strong background in financial services. The role of Head of Finance is to join a growing international financial services company, based in Leeds.
This is a hybrid role offering 3 days WFH, 30 days holiday + stats, BUPA and a highly competitive salary.
In this key leadership role supporting an experienced CFO you’ll be responsible for driving financial strategy, overseeing financial performance, and supporting senior decision-making across the business. You’ll lead and mentor a talented finance team including the Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, and FP&A functions.
About the Role
As Head of Finance, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across key disciplines
- Own financial planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting standards
- Work closely with executive leadership to shape financial strategy
- Deliver insight-led reporting to support commercial decision-making
- Be a key voice in continuous improvement, system optimisation, and risk management
We are looking for
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within financial services
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, planning and control
- Commercial acumen and strategic thinking
