Financial Controller

Salary:
£35000 - £45000 per annum + Benefits

Entry level Financial Controller role based in LS11. Our manufacturing client has grown to £20m+ turnover, the role is to support the Financial Director and the post will include;

Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts, with commentary and variance analysis
Overall responsibility for accuracy of general ledger
Calculate and post month-end journals – accruals, pre-payments, depreciation, inter- company and reconcile balance sheet control accounts
Manage working capital position via detailed cash flow forecasting, effective credit control and efficient use of invoice financing facility
Oversee accounts payable and ensure full utilisation of trade credit, organise payments runs
Daily bank and invoice finance ledger reconciliations
VAT reconciliations with timely submission and payment
Complete weekly and monthly payroll and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Liaise with external auditors, bankers and invoice financiers

The Financial Director sees the financial controller as future succession planning to move up into the Financial Director post in time.
