Assistant Accountant

Salary:
£30000 - £33500 per annum

We are proud to be supporting a respected education provider in their search for an AAT Qualified Accountant to support the Head of Finance.

This role would suit an AAT Level 4 qualified accountant with a foundation of month end experience looking to join a well-established organisation with excellent benefits.

Your main duties will be:

Undertake general finance responsibilities; data inputting, producing analysis and ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel and other tasks as required by the Head of Finance
Collate information required by internal and external stakeholders, including Auditors, Insurance Brokers and Funding providers
Maintain Fixed Asset Register including additions, disposals and undertake inventory/asset checks.
Assist with the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, preparing analyses and reports as required.
Help produce the month end accounts by assisting with the month end routines including calculation of prepayments and accruals and accurate recharging of costs.
Maintain the accuracy of the Finance system ensuring it is correctly updated for new starters and leavers and appropriate system training has been delivered.

Salary: £30,500 – £33,500
