Assistant Accountant

Salary:
£30000 - £35000 per annum

Thirsk, North Yorkshire

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our client’s business at their site in Thirsk.

The position will focus on the production of timely and accurate financial reports whilst reporting into the senior finance team members and aiding with ad hoc finance tasks.

This role would suit an AAT qualified accountant or early stages ACCA / CIMA studies looking to develop their career in an established and well financially backed business.

Main duties of the role:

Assist with journals and management accounts preparation.
Investigate variances to budget.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain cashbook’s, post sales ledger cash and bank reconciliation.
Prepare and submit quarterly vat return.
Assist with treasury management.
Post credit card expenses, payment of personal expenses

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
