Corporate Tax Senior Manager
An independent, forward-thinking firm of accountants in York is looking to recruit a Senior Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing team.
This is a hybrid role with flexible hours.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys a combination of compliance, advisory work and building strong relationships with owner-managed businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing tax planning and advisory services to business owners, with a strong focus on corporate tax.
- Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and advising on potential risks.
- Managing complex tax queries and HMRC negotiations.
- Advising on R&D claims and Structural Building Allowances.
- Supporting clients with wider tax matters, including CGT, IHT and VAT.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver a proactive, commercially focused service.
Applicants should have strong technical tax knowledge, ideally gained within an accountancy practice, alongside excellent communication skills and the confidence to manage client relationships independently.
