Semi Senior
A respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in Ripon is seeking a dedicated Semi-Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance their career in accountancy with full study support and a clear pathway for progression.
The Role:
This full-time, office-based position offers a varied and hands-on workload within the accounts team, including:
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies
- Assisting in the preparation of personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns
- Bookkeeping duties and VAT return preparation
- Supporting senior team members with more complex assignments
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
The ideal applicant will have:
- 1 to 2 years of experience within an accountancy practice
- Ideally be working towards an AAT qualification (study support provided)
- Experience preparing accounts for both incorporated and unincorporated businesses
- Some knowledge of tax, with familiarity in SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks, and preferably IRIS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
