Partner
A truly independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in the Bradford area is looking to appoint a Partner. The firm prides itself on delivering high-quality, hands-on support to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed business clients across Yorkshire and beyond.
As Partner, you will take ownership of an existing client portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor on all aspects of accounting, tax, and business strategy. You will be part of a collaborative leadership team that values integrity, professionalism, and client service above all else.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of OMB clients
- Provide proactive advice on accounting, tax, and commercial matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted business partner
- Oversee compliance and ensure technical excellence across client deliverables
- Support and mentor team members, contributing to the firm’s continued growth and reputation
- Play an active role in practice development, business planning, and client acquisition
About You:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong background in general practice
- Experience with owner-managed businesses essential
- Audit experience beneficial but not required
- Strong technical knowledge with a commercial mindset
- Confident communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the desire to take on equity within 1–2 years
