Management Accountant
Management Accountant sought for a construction sector business in Harrogate.
The Management Accountant will maintain accurate records using sage 50 for a profitable and growing owner managed business.
This Management Accountant role could suit a qualified or qualified by experience accountant looking for a full-time office-based role local to Harrogate.
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet
- Monitor job-level costs and margins across projects and contracts
- Post accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including WIP and deferred income
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyse cost variances and provide commentary to senior management
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
