IPS Finance are handling a vacancy for a well-established family-owned group of manufacturing companies. A a result of their continued success & growth, they are now on the search for a self-motivated, operationally minded, management accountant to join them.

This newly created role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant with substantial previous experience as a Management Accountant.

You will be the key financial contact for the business with extensive commercial day to day involvement, the role is hugely varied and no 2 days are the same however the main focus of the role is to support the finance teams ensuring all reporting, month-end accounts, forecasts and budgets are completed accurately and in a timely manner whilst ensuring legal & regulatory compliance.

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Full preparation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
Cash flow forecasts & reports
Budgets & forecasting
Tax Management
Provide financial information to assist business development & growth

Other responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance with Government bodies
Stock Control
Payroll Support
HR
Health & Safety

You will be required to make regular factory visits across multiple sites interacting with operations, verifying accounts and stock and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Strong planning & organisational skills along with solid communication skills both written & verbal and the ability and aptitude to handle a large and varied workload accurately is essential.
