Management Accountant
Hybrid Leeds centre opportunity for a recently qualified ACCA or ACA accountant looking to make their first move from practice into industry. This role sits within a modern, entrepreneurial professional services company experiencing strong growth, offering the chance to gain broad commercial experience and play a key role in supporting strategic financial decision-making.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of management reporting, analysis, and financial control. This is a hands-on and developmental role—ideal for someone eager to build their analytical and commercial skills in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and performance reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Contribute to process improvements and system development
- Provide insight and analysis to support key business decisions
- Work closely with senior management and operational teams across the company
Requirements
- Recently qualified ACA or ACCA (practice-trained)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, commercial mindset
- Confident communicator with the ability to partner effectively across teams
- Keen to learn and develop within an ambitious, fast-paced environment
