Management Accountant
We are seeking a proactive and driven Management Accountant to join a growing business and provide key financial support to the Finance Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of management accounts and reporting.
This is a hybrid working role.
About the Role: As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insight to improve performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting packs
- Supporting the Finance Director with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Monitoring cash flow, accruals, and prepayments
- Assisting with year-end processes and audit preparation
- Providing commercial insight and analysis to support business performance
- Supporting process improvements within the finance function
- Involvement in Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and analysis (experience advantageous)
About You: We are open to applications from Qualified, Part-Qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience) accountants.
Essential skills & experience:
- Previous experience in a management accounting role
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
- Clear communicator with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
