Interim Accountant
We’re working with a large corporate business in Huddersfield that is seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to support their finance function through a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant seeking a move from practice or industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and adding real value from day one.
There is a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days required in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and insight for senior leadership.
- Support the business through the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Act as a finance business partner to key operational teams, providing analysis and financial guidance to support informed decision-making.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial projects as
- required.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance team to drive efficiency and strengthen controls.
