Finance Assistant

£24000 - £28000 per annum

We are working with a Dewsbury based manufacturer seeking an accounts assistant for a full-time, permanent position.

The accounts assistant will produce cash flow reports, maintain financial controls and support the financial controller with month end activities.

We feel the role would suit a latter stages AAT studier looking to take on further month end responsibility could take advantage of study support and working under a qualified accountant.

Main duties of the role:

Maintain fixed asset register and post depreciation journal for month end.
Maintain balance sheet.
Assist Finance Manager with year-end audits and ad hoc requests.
Assist with the production of monthly closing reports and other operations reports as required.
Reconcile self-billing schedules and allocate cash to invoices.
Analyse contents and coding of nominals.
Generate consolidated invoices for key business partners.
Maintain billing contracts for customers in the key system.
Maintain and submit finance lease proposals to funders
Settle finance agreements at the end of their term or at point of sale.
Carry out annual audits of our KEY system with funding partners.

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000
