Finance Assistant

Our Client is a rapidly expanding retail business currently looking to recruit a finance assistant for a full time office based role to work at their site in LS12.

The Finance Assistant will works as part of a team to support the newly appointed financial controller with invoice entry and reconcilliation.

In return you will get to work as part of an experienced accounts team and gain exposure to a fast paced and high growth business, as well as receive full funding for the AAT qualification if sought.

Your main duties will include:

Processing sales journals.
Reconciling payment provider accounts to ensure accurate sales reporting.
Posting purchase invoices and reconciling with supplier statements.
Drafting supplier payment runs and reconciling statements.
Bank reconciliation.
Assisting with associate pay.
Handling payroll queries.

We feel this role would suit an accountant at the early stages of their career who is either currently studying AAT or looking to take on the qualifcation. Ideally you will have 1 – 3 years experience already in a transactional finance role.

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 + Study Support
