Finance Assistant

Salary:
£24000 - £28000 per annum

We have an INCREDIBLE opportunity with a well-established leisure group for a Finance Assistant to join their team based near Garforth, Leeds.

About the company:
This company provides financial support to various entities within its group, with interests in leisure, property, and investments. This will enable you to keep you work varied and interesting, whilst having a visible impact on the companies you are supporting.

About the role:
(Training provided)
* Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet and working papers.
* Draft statutory accounts.
* Produce and file quarterly VAT returns.
* Monthly bookkeeping duties.
* Arranging the authorisation of invoices to be paid.
* Setting up supplier payments on the banking system.
* Count, record, and reconcile petty cash.

About the candidate:
* AAT studier or AAT qualified (study support will be provided)
* Eager to learn and progress with a growing company.
* Suitable for someone looking to move from Practice to Industry or for someone who has worked in a similar role before.

* Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days at home).
