Commercial Management Accountant
Are you a commercially minded management accountant looking to move into a more commercial role to influence and make a meaningful impact? A dynamic and purpose-led organisation in the heart of Leeds City Centre is on the lookout for a Management Accountant to join their forward-thinking finance team.
In this pivotal role, the Management Accountant will act as a Finance Business Partner, working closely with department heads and budget holders to steer key projects toward success. With a strong focus on performance improvement and financial integrity, they’ll deliver insightful analysis and ensure strategic decisions are backed by robust financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with stakeholders to track, providing challenge on project costs.
- Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Conducting statutory reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Mentoring and developing junior team members.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) who brings a blend of technical expertise and strategic business acumen with a solid background in management accounts preparation and business partnering with stakeholders to drive change.
