Accounts Assistant
A growing and well-established business in Halifax is looking for a Finance Assistant to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in finance, with exposure to a variety of month-end processes and the chance to work closely with an experienced Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments
- Assisting with month-end analysis and reporting
- Supporting the Financial Controller with month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Helping to maintain accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls
About You:
- Previous experience in a finance role, with exposure to sales ledger and month-end tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good Excel skills and the ability to work with financial data
- AAT qualification (or working towards) would be beneficial but not essential
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
