Management Accountant
A growing financial services business based in Leeds City Centre is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of core reporting processes while managing a small team and working closely with an experienced Financial Director.
This is a hybrid role with up to two days WFH.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support the business, alongside overseeing day-to-day finance operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary
- Full responsibility for VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Managing, mentoring and developing a small finance team
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
- Working closely with the Finance Director to support business planning and decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies within the finance function
We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant seeking a move from industry or from practice into industry for this role.
