Semi Senior Accountant
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established accountancy and business advisory firm, recognised as one of the UK’s top 100 practices. With a strong presence across Yorkshire and the South, the firm has continued to grow in recent years, expanding its offices, client base, and specialist services.
The role offers the chance to work closely with a varied portfolio of SME clients, combining the feel of a regional practice with the resources and expertise of a national firm.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of management information on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- VAT and corporation tax returns
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with clients, building strong relationships, and supporting with day-to-day queries
About you
- ACA/ACCA Studier with at least 3 year accountancy practice experience
- Experienced in preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
- Confident working with clients and senior management
- Organised and able to manage workloads independently
- Knowledge of Xero or similar cloud-based software would be an advantage
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
