Senior Accountant

Salary:
£40000 - £50000 per annum + Benefits

Ripon, North Yorkshire

Opportunity for an experienced practice based accountant who is looking for a new challenge. If you enjoy working with a variety of clients and providing them with tailored and proactive accountancy services then this could be an ideal opportunity.

Due to the highly varied client base, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment.

Supporting the Directors, duties of the Senior Accountant will include;

* Overseeing a portfolio of clients
* Preparation of Statutory accounts
* Gaining exposure to personal tax returns
* Review of accounts prepared by team
* Training and advice on accounting software
* Assist with staff development and training

We are looking for an accountant with experience working within an accountancy practice who could be AAT, ACA, ACCA or qualified by experience.
