Finance Operations Manager
A modern business consultancy is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to lead its finance team. This is a pivotal role with a clear progression path toward a Finance Director position.
About the Role
As Finance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Managing a team of 7, you will lead the bookkeeping and management accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and operational excellence across the team.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset. You’ll be instrumental in streamlining processes, improving systems, and supporting strategic decision-making as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of 7 finance professionals across bookkeeping and management accounts
- Oversee preparation of accurate and timely management accounts and financial reporting
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support business performance and decision-making
- Be a kek point of contact for external client relationships
What We’re Looking For:
- AAT or qualified accountant seeking a move from practice or industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience with Xero or other cloud-based accounting software is highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills and client facing
