Financial Controller
IPS Finance has partnered with an £80m t/o business based in Normanton on a Financial Controller role. Our client is looking for a driven individual who has a mindset for process improvement and can provide leadership to the finance team of 6 and work closely with the CFO.
The Role
The Finance Controller will play a key role in ensuring strong financial processes, accurate reporting, and effective cash flow management. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and drive efficiencies.
Financial Controller Responsibilities:
• Oversee the production of weekly MI and management accounts, ensuring timely reporting.
• Develop consolidated monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Lead cash flow forecasting and treasury processes.
• Support budgets, forecasts, and project cash flow forecasting.
• Represent financial performance in monthly board meetings.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with strong hands-on accounting skills and a commercial mindset. This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
