Tax Manager
A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Keighley is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team following a planned retirement. This is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to a broad range of tax matters, with a particular focus on personal tax, inheritance tax (IHT), and trust work.
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and clients, managing a diverse portfolio and providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring the smooth running of the tax function within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax returns.
- Advise on inheritance tax planning and trust structures.
- Oversee trust tax compliance and administration.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required.
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
Candidate Profile:
- Experienced tax professional, ideally CTA or ATT qualified (or qualified by experience).
- Strong knowledge of personal tax, IHT, and trusts.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
