Management Accountant
This Management Accountant role sits within a small finance team and reports directly to the senior finance lead. The position offers broad exposure across management accounting, transactional oversight and statutory support, making it suitable for someone who enjoys a hands-on role within a close-knit team.
You will be joining a well established business operating within a commercial, product-led environment. The organisation has a stable trading history and this is a key role within an already established finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of the month-end close and production of management accounts
- Preparation of accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting journals and maintaining ledger integrity
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Completion of quarterly VAT returns
- Preparation and review of supplier payment runs
- Providing support across purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations as required
- Assisting with year-end processes and audit preparation
Package and working pattern:
- Salary to £40,000 per annum
