Finance Manager
IPS Finance is handling a newly created Finance Manager role to join a leading support services company. This role will support the Group Finance Director in the day-to-day finance operations and lead a small finance team.
This employee-owned business operates internationally and combine innovation with a strong commitment to client service. They pride themselves on supporting staff development and providing a collaborative, people-focused working environment.
As Finance Manager, you will:
- Report directly to the Group Finance Director
- Oversee the production of management accounts, cashflows, budgets, and VAT returns.
- Provide financial analysis, including variance reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support year-end processes, including audit deliverables and liaising with external auditors.
- Present financial information to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Lead and develop a team of five finance professionals.
We are looking for a part-qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with:
- Strong experience in accounting packages and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience managing and developing a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Confidence in presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
Desirable (not essential):
- Knowledge of Sage/Xero and advanced excel skills.
- Experience preparing financial information to support strategic and operational decisions.
