Accounts Assistant
Fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
This well-respected firm offer a variety of services to assist their clients with many aspects of their accounting needs. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues with varying experience, helping you to progress your career with the support of the team.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
• Preparation of year end accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Support with bookkeeping as and when required.
• Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities; preparation of tax returns.
This is an exciting opportunity that will give you exposure to a wide range of areas of accounting as staff are responsible for all aspects of their clients accounting needs. With support from the firm, you will gain experience in managing the various processes your client goes through on a year-on-year basis, ensuring your work is varied and interesting.
To qualify for this Accounts Assistant position, you will need:
• 2+ years’ experience working as an Accounts Assistant in an Accountancy Firm.
• Suitable for someone studying AAT, ACA, or ACCA.
• Be committed to your studies to ensure your long-term progression and success.
• Comfortable building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
