Accountant
Fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing, prominent firm of Accountants based in Middlesbrough.
This firm offers a wide range of services to their clients, enabling you to act as a trusted advisor to their varying client base.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns.
- Handle personal and corporation tax computations as part of the account’s preparation process.
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including fieldwork and supporting senior team members in managing audits from start to finish.
- Support junior team members, offering guidance and training to help them develop their skills and progress in their roles.
To qualify for this Accountant role, ideally you will meet the following:
- AAT, ACA, or ACCA part to fully qualified.
- Experience using Xero software would be advantageous
- Experience working in an accountancy firm, in either an accounts and audit role or sole accounts / sole audit position.
