AAT Trainee Accountant

Salary:
£20000 - £25000 per annum

Exciting new opportunity for an AAT Trainee Accountant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Huddersfield.
This multi-site, well-established firm offer a range of services to assist their clients with many aspects of their accounting needs. You will have the opportunity to work for a wide range of clients giving you well-rounded exposure to many aspects of accounting.

About the role:

Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.
Preparation of VAT returns.
Perform bookkeeping duties when required.
Working within a team and reporting to managers when appropriate.

About the candidate:

Suitable for someone who is studying towards AAT level 3 or 4.
1+ years’ Practice experience in an accountancy firm.
Be eager to learn and progress with the firm, both professionally and through your studies.

Additional information:

Full study support towards AAT and chartered qualifications.
Annual leave starting at 21 days + bank holidays, increasing with exam qualifications.
Hybrid working available.
Parking available.
Salary from £20,000p/a to £25,000p/a.
