Semi-Senior Accountant – York

Salary:
£25000 - £300000 per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in York.

This mid-size, 2-site, independent firm offers a wide range of services from audit, tax, bookkeeping, management accounts and accounts preparation. Supportive and encouraging, the firm are keen to support you through career, with excellent career progression opportunities.

About the role:

Preparation of statutory year end accounts for a variety of clients.
Preparation of management accounts to be sent to clients.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Bookkeeping duties when required.
Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.
Liaising with clients when necessary and forming long-term relationships.
Working within a team and reporting to managers when appropriate.

About the candidate:

Either AAT qualified and looking to start ACA/ACCA or already studying ACA/ACCA
2+ years’ Practice experience.
Good written and verbal English.
