Financial Accountant

We are working with a well-established international professional services company based between Leeds and Bradford, who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

The role offers 3 days WFH and a great range of benefits including 30 days holidays + stats.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing the balance sheet and financial accounting activities for both the UK parent company and an overseas subsidiary.
• Leading and developing a team of three finance professionals.
• Ensuring robust controls are in place and driving improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Producing insightful financial analysis to support senior stakeholders.
• Supporting audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience working in a financial accounting role.
• Solid understanding of balance sheet management and financial controls.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience managing or mentoring a team.
