Finance Manager
A unique opportunity has arisen to shape and lead the finance function of an innovative, growing business based in Sheffield.
This is a newly created role, offering the chance to build the accounting infrastructure from the ground up.
You’ll work closely with the directors to provide financial insights and ensure the finance function is a strategic asset as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce timely and accurate management information to support decision-making
- Oversee and develop day-to-day financial operations, including ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and manage all statutory obligations
- Optimise financial systems, processes, and reporting tools
- Lead on tax matters
- Drive improvements in the use of finance software to increase efficiency
- Partner with the directors to provide insight and challenge on performance and strategy
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in a manufacturing or product-led environment
- Comfortable operating independently and setting up processes from scratch
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
