Auditor
Fantastic opportunity for an Auditor to join a long-established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leeds City Centre.
This firm takes a modern approach to their work style, with ‘dress for your day’, flexible working, and early finish Friday’s being the norm.
You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, keeping your work varied and interesting, whilst encouraging you to progress within the firm.
As an Auditor, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out audits both on-site and in the office.
- Complete relevant sections of the audit file as discussed and agreed.
- Communicate with the audit supervisors regularly on the audit and make recommendations to them on how clients could improve their accounting systems and controls.
- Preparation of year end accounts.
- Calculate tax computations for the clients you are working on.
For this Auditor position, you will need:
- 2+ Years’ experience working as an Auditor in an Accountancy Firm.
- Suitable for someone studying AAT, ACA, or ACCA.
- Pro-active team player, confident liaising with clients and colleagues.
- Good interpersonal skills, telephone manner, and written English.
