Senior Accounts and Tax Manager

Fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Accountant and Tax Manager to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax.
Offering a wide range of services for local businesses, this firm is keen to add to their existing team and support the firm’s continual growth. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact with long-term progression opportunities, starting as a Senior Accounts and Taxation Manager, progressing through to Partner in the future.

Managing and developing your own portfolio of clients, being responsible for client contact, managing workflow, and assisting junior members of the team.
Participate in client meetings both in-person and over the phone etc.
Completing accountancy and business taxation assignments for a wide range of businesses.
Reviewing financial statements for a mixture of clients such as sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Supporting clients with their personal tax compliance and tax planning, offering solutions and explanations that fit with the client’s needs and goals.
Supporting junior team members with their learning and development, being involved with internal reviews and contributing to the firm’s progression.

About you:

ACA or ACCA qualified.
Significant experience in Accountancy Practice, able to work both independently and part of a team.
Personal tax compliance and planning experience would be essential.
Excellent time management, communication, and written skills.
Confident commanding your own portfolio of clients.
