Mixed Tax Senior
We are recruiting for a Tax Senior to join a well-established accountancy firm in Sheffield. This role has become available due to retirement and offers an excellent opportunity to take on a key position within a small, dedicated tax team. As the role develops, there is scope for increased client contact and involvement in tax planning and advisory services.
The Role:
- Preparing personal, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 350 personal tax clients, handling the entire process from data collection to submission and billing
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, advising on tax liabilities and liaising with HMRC as required
- Reviewing corporate tax computations as part of the financial reporting process, finalising returns, and obtaining client approval before filing
- Managing P11D benefits reporting, ensuring compliance and timely submission
About You:
- Experience working in an accountancy practice within a tax-focused role
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in client-facing interactions
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tax compliance and advisory work
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
