Interim Finance Manager
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their Leeds-based finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 3–6 months.
This is a hands-on role covering the day to day finance function, with some involvement in systems, reporting and process improvement. Previous experience of Sage 200 is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports
- Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow information
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
- Support statutory reporting and the external audit process
- Maintain and develop financial reporting within Sage 200
- Review existing finance processes and make practical improvements where required
- Produce and develop reporting using Excel
- Support finance systems and data-related work
- Provide financial information to management and operational teams
- Assist with other areas of the finance function as required
Candidate profile:
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar accounting role
- Hands-on Sage 200 experience is essential
- Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
- Good management accounts, budgeting and cash flow experience
- Strong Excel and general systems skills
- Comfortable working with financial data and reporting
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Available to undertake a temporary assignment
Package and working pattern
Initial 3–6 month temporary assignment based in the Leeds LS12 area. Salary or day rate will be dependent on experience but applicants are expected to be in the region of £60,000 per annum.
