Commercial Management Accountant
A growing and well-regarded business in Wakefield is looking for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified accountant looking to develop their career in a role that offers exposure to senior stakeholders, strategic decision-making, and real business impact.
You’ll be joining a team of top-tier finance professionals in a business that values progression and continuous improvement. This role will give you the opportunity to shape financial insights, work closely with operational teams, and contribute to a business that is going from strength to strength.
Package:
- £45,000 – £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Providing commercial insights and financial analysis to support business decisions
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue valuations
- Partnering with key stakeholders to drive performance and efficiency
- Ensuring data integrity within financial systems and improving reporting processes
- Supporting period-end processes, including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with internal and external audits, including joint ventures
- Driving process improvements and supporting system developments
About You:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Experience in management accounting,
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Commercially minded with an interest in strategy and business performance
