Accounts Assistant
Incredible new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Normanton.
This firm offer a variety of services to assist their clients with many aspects of their accounting needs. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues with varying experience, helping you to progress your career with the support of the team.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of year end accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Support with bookkeeping as and when required.
- Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities; preparation of tax returns.
To qualify for this Accounts Assistant position, you will need:
- 2+ years’ experience working as an Accounts Assistant in an Accountancy Firm.
- Suitable for someone studying AAT, ACA, or ACCA.
- Comfortable building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
