    AAT Qualification Levels

    Assessment & Exams

    • Exams are computer-based assessments taken at AAT-approved centres.

    AAT Membership & Professional Status

    • On qualification, you can become an AAT full member (MAAT).
    • After gaining experience, you can achieve Fellow membership (FMAAT).

    Progression Routes

    AAT is recognised by professional accountancy bodies. Upon completing Level 4, you may receive exemptions from:
    • ACCA (up to 3 papers)
    • CIMA
    • ICAEW (ACA)
    • CIPFA
