Credit Controller

Are you a natural with numbers and love keeping things running smoothly? Our client looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join their friendly Accounts team on a temporary basis.

Duties of Credit Controller:

• Taking the lead on chasing and collecting outstanding payments.
• Reviewing new customer applications and running credit checks.
• Setting up sensible credit limits and clear payment terms.
• Reconciling accounts and solving invoice or payment queries.
• Producing monthly statements and reminders.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve any account issues.
• Preparing reports on debt levels and cash flow performance.

Essential:

• Experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
• Confident communicator with great phone and email etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• A solid understanding of credit procedures and financial systems.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (preferred but not essential).
