Accounts Assistant
Incredible opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing remote firm.
This role will give you the opportunity to build a great career, working with a variety of clients and gain more responsibility as you progress.
Suitable candidates MUST have full right to work in the UK and be based in the UK.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Performing regular bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining financial records and reconciling bank transactions in Xero.
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Managing and processing monthly payroll for clients.
- Coordinating and supporting supplier payment runs.
To qualify for this Accounts Assistant role, ideally you should meet the following:
- Studying towards AAT level 3 or 4, or ACA / ACCA.
- Have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience working as an Accounts Assistant, with an understanding of bookkeeping and payroll processes.
- Keen to continue building your bookkeeping skills.
- Experience with Xero would be beneficial.
