Semi-Senior Accountant

Salary:
£25000 - £30000 per annum

We have an incredible opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Yeadon.
This independent firm offers a wide range of services from audit, tax, bookkeeping, management accounts and accounts preparation. Proudly independent and long-established, they are keen to support you with your long-term career progression to enable the firm to keep growing.

About the role:

Preparation of statutory year end accounts for a variety of clients.
Preparation of management accounts to be sent to clients.
Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
Bookkeeping duties when required.
Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.
Liaising with clients when necessary and forming long-term relationships.
Working within a team and reporting to managers when appropriate.

About the candidate:

Studying ACA or ACCA.
2+ years’ Accountancy Practice Experience.
Be confident preparing accounts through to draft review stage.
Good written and verbal English.
