Job Title – Operations and Development Manager
Job Type – Full-time, permanent, office based
Salary – £40,000-£50,000
IPS Finance are working alongside a leisure centre who are based near Northallerton and are looking to recruit an Operations & Development Manager.
This role consists of being responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, as well as driving business development initiatives to expand and improve the business’ offerings. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
1.Operations Management:
– Oversee all aspects of the operations, ensuring efficient and smooth daily functioning.
– Manage a team of staff, including instructors, groundsmen, retail sales, kitchen, front of house and support personnel, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
– Coordinate scheduling, reservations, and logistics to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
– Implement and enforce health and safety policies, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
2.Business Development:
– Identify and evaluate opportunities for business growth.
– Develop and execute strategic plans to increase revenue, attract new customers, and maximize the overall profitability.
– Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organizers and local communities to drive business partnerships and collaborations.
– Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitors, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
3.Financial Management:
– Prepare and manage budgets, monitoring expenses, and revenue targets, and implementing cost control measures.
– Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
– Generate regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategies for growth.
