Interim Finance Manager – Law Firm

Salary:
£45000 - £50000 per annum + Benefits

Leeds, West Yorkshire

12 month contract role which is No.2 to the head of finance and the role can be predominantly home based with occasional contact with their offices in Leeds centre. Experience working in a law firm or of solicitor accounts rules would be an advantage.

Principal Accountabilities:

Financial Reporting: Report to the Head of Finance on the financial performance of the organisation.
Statutory Accounts: Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
Taxation Compliance: Prepare and submit all taxation returns (VAT, CT, employment taxes, etc.) and ensure compliance with taxation regulations.
Monthly Financial Statements: Prepare monthly financial statements and related reports.
Financial Accounting Accuracy: Ensure accuracy of financial accounting information.
Cash Flow Management: Manage the cash flow of the organisation.
Team Management: Manage and develop the finance team.
Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, HMRC, and service suppliers.
Client Requirements: Meet client requirements in relation to billing, banking, and funds transfer.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
