Finance Director

We are seeking a motivated finance professional looking to undertake rewarding FD role with operational responsibilities.

Our client is a well-established family run business based in West Leeds with a reputation for delivering a standard of excellence to their clients. As they continue to expand and seize new opportunities, they are seeking a Finance Director who can seamlessly integrate financial strategy with operational execution to aid with their organic growth plan.

Main responsibilities of the role:

• Lead financial planning, analysis, and budgeting activities, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals and objectives.
• Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and risk management, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for process improvements, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize business performance and ensure seamless coordination between finance and other departments.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive profitability.
• Management of a finance team of one

Skills and attributes you will have:

• A proven leader
• Ideally a qualified accountant
• Experience operating in a number 1 finance role
• A passion to go beyond your remit and a willingness to champion to operational business decision making

Salary: £70,000 – £75,000
