Audit Senior

Salary:
£40000 - £45000 per annum

We have an incredible opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a well-established, multi-site firm of Chartered Accountants, in their York office.

About the role:

Prepare statutory year end accounts for a variety of clients
Audit of financial statements from planning to completion, including responsibility for managing the onsite audit team when necessary
Prepare draft corporation tax returns
Action queries raised by the accounts and tax managers
Finalise the accounts/corporation tax computations following client meetings
Act as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries
Provide training and support to team members as required

About you:

ACA/ACCA qualified
Proven experience of owner-managed small to medium business accounts preparation
General practice background, with experience in audit
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident speaking to clients face to face, over the telephone and by email
Have excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel
Experience with any of the following software would be beneficial: Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks Online
