Position – Audit Semi-Senior Accountant

Salary – £20,000-£26,000 (depending on experience)

Location – Wakefield

Job Type – Full time, permanent (Early finish Friday – 1:30pm)

IPS Finance are looking for an Audit Semi-Senior Accountant to join an accountancy practise based in Wakefield.

This role will suit an accountant who has been working at junior level and might have some experience of, or interest in audit and feel it’s time your career progressed. Or maybe you’re already a Semi Senior Accountant with an interest in a new and exciting challenge and the prospect of being more involved in audit.

The firm is also offering study support for the ACA & ACCA qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Completion of statutory and management accounts for a diverse range of clients within the portfolio.
• Assist with the management of high turnover audits from planning to completion.
• All associated general accounting associated tasks from a review perspective (bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll and producing reports.)
